      It is composed by highly chlorined polyethylene modified by epoxy resin, plasticizer and anti-rust pigment, with good anti-rust property, salt fog resistance, dryness and wetness alternation property, firm and tenacious paint film, strong adhesion force; the construction may be conducted under low temperature.

      It is applicable for the corrosion prevention of various steel structures or concrete surface for corrosion of chemical atmosphere, industrial atmosphere, acid, alkali and salt.

      Surface treatment

      *The steel surface reaches Grade Sa2.5 of Sweden Derusting Standard subject to shotblasting, or reaches Grade St3 subject to manual or power tool, the surface after derusting should be coated with highly chlorined polyethylene rusty red primer within 24 hours so as to avoid producing the secondary rusting.

      *After the concrete cement mortar surface is placed and cured for a period of time so that the moisture evaporates sufficiently and the alkali salinity separates out and is eliminated thoroughly, the construction can be conducted, if there are crack, pockmark, air pore, unshelling or unevenness place, the putty may be employed for repairing evenly.


      Construction condition

      Prior to construction, the coating must be stirred sufficiently and uniformly.

      The temperature of substrate must be 3℃ higher than dewing point.

      The construction temperature of ordinary highly chlorined polyethylene anti-corrosive coating is between 0-35℃ preferentially. During construction, take notice the weather and temperature change; during rainy, foggy and snowy day, or the relative humidity is greater than 85% or the weather is scorching under direct irradiation by strong sunshine in summer, the construction can’t be conducted uniformly.

      Remarks

      The thickness of paint film may be modified according to use purpose or use area, however, the spreading rate, drying time and recoating interval may be changed correspondingly.

      Considerations

      *Prior to construction, the highly chlorined polyethylene anti-corrosive coating must be stirred sufficiently and uniformly, after that, the construction can be performed.

      *The highly chlorined polyethylene heavy anti-corrosive coating may be adopted with brushing painting and roller painting construction method( spray painting may be adopted for primer), the coating shall be conducted according to crisscross sequence and remains certain speed so as to form compact and uniform coating in thickness and reduce the generation of air pore. When the brush painting is adopted, the coating frequency is inadvisable to be too much, being of three times generally. If the repeating frequency for finish paint coating is too much, the coating at the bottom or in the middle layer is easily roughed so that the coating discolors.

      *For dilution of highly chlorined polyethylene heavy anti-corrosive coating, the special-purpose diluent for highly chlorined polyethylene heavy anti-corrosive coating should be employed. While coating during construction under low temperature and after sandblasting treatment, the coating isn’t required to be diluted. When the steel surface is constructed under higher temperature condition in summer, the primer must be coated after being diluted, however, the dilution dosage must be controlled between 5%~10% of coating volume.

      *Interval time of coating for highly chlorined polyethylene heavy anti-corrosive coating; after the steel surface is subjected to first pass of primer on the anti-rusting paint, the later pass of primer, medium paint and finish paint should be coated with the specified coating interval time.

      Safety guide  

      The Safety guide items on the packaging label should be noticed. In addition, thesafety laws and regulations specified by relevant state or local government should also be observed. Avoid breathing solvent steam or paint fog for a long term; the skin and eye can’t contact this product; while constructing in the narrow place or poorly ventilated place, the forced ventilation must be provided; while constructing, the protective articles should be worn.
