Surface treatment

The surface of steel shall be conducted the treatment of blasting or sand blasting ,meeting the Swedish derusting standard Sa2.5 level, or derusting of manual and power tool St3 level. The roughness of the surface shall be controlled within 40-80μm.After rust removal of steel material, which shall be painted anti-rust primer within 24hours, in order to avoid second rust.

Construction condition

*Two-component paint shall be stirred fully, mixed in accordance with stipulated quality, stopped 20minutes before construction. The substrate temperature shall over 3℃ than usual point.

*The construction temperature of polyurethane coating shall be controlled within0-35℃, the changes of weather and temperature in execution of construction shall be paid attention; The relative humidity of raining, dewing and snowing day shall be more than 85%. In the condition of summer hot weather and strong direct sunlight, construction can’t be conducted.

Finishing paint

Polyurethane micaceous iron oxide antirust paint, polyurethane finishing coat, polyurethane oil resistant finishing coat.

Remarks

The thickness of paint film can be modified in accordance with using purpose and section, but the spreading rate, dilution quantities, drying time and repainting interval will be changed correspondingly.

Considerations

*The best construction temperature is 0-35℃,relative humidity ≤85% or the temperature of the surface of coating material shall be more than 3℃.

*When the temperature is less than 3℃ or in the condition of raining, fogging, snowing day and large dust, the construction can’t be conducted.

*This coating can be used for the methods of spraying, brushing, roller coating, etc. Different construction methods have different requirements for the viscosity of coating. The special diluents shall be used for adjusting the viscosity of coating, the water, banana water, alcohol and gasoline shall be banned.

*Polyurethane coating belongs to “chemical reactivity” coating, it shall be stirred fully before construction, mixed and matched well in accordance with stipulated mass ratio. The construction can only be executed after 20 minutes static maturing within the temperature 25℃-35℃. If the temperature is less than 25℃, the maturing time can be properly extended. The matured coating shall be used up within 4-8h in case of cementing wasted.

*The packing lid shall be covered and sealed tightly, otherwise, it will be metamorphic under the function of moisture, alcohol and water.

Safety guide  

Pay attention to the safe items on the packing label. Moreover, operators shall obey the safety legal specification issued by relevant state or local government. Avoiding inhalation of vapor or mist, skin and eyes shall not be contacted with this product. In the process of construction, the forced ventilation shall be provided especially in the place which is in narrow and stagnant air condition. The protective gear shall be provided in the execution of construction even though the ventilation is good.
